Red Vietnam generally fits better into times when the pace of the day has already slowed down. Its steady and grounded nature can feel out of place in fast-moving or highly active situations.
That said, it is not as heavy as some of the slowest reds, which means it may still feel manageable in smaller amounts earlier on. Even then, its underlying character remains more subdued than responsive. It is most commonly associated with periods where a calmer rhythm is already expected.
