It’s usually seen as more of a later-day strain. The slower pace doesn’t always match well with busy or high-focus situations. That said, because it isn’t extremely heavy, some people still use it earlier depending on what they’re looking for. It’s not strictly locked into nighttime use, but its slow, subdued, and calming effects may make it more appropriate for later in the day. It just naturally fits better when things are winding down.
